Giulio Iacchetti has been involved in industrial design since 1992, designing for a number of brands including Alessi, Caimi Brevetti, Casamania, Desalto, Foscarini, Ferrero, Lavazza, Mandarina Duck, Nava, Pandora Design, Sambonet, Samsung, and Thonet Vienna. Besides working as a designer, he teaches at several universities and design schools. His distinctive working manner respects the search and definition of new object types, such as Moscardino, a multi-use biodegradable table utensil for which he received the Compasso d’Oro award in 2001 together with Matteo Ragni. He also works as an art director for such brands as iB taps and fittings, Globo ceramics, and Coccio Design Edition.
