Ionna Vautrin

As a graduate of the Nantes Atlantique design school, she honed her skills with Camper in Spain and George J. Sowden in Italy before joining the studio of Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec. Her style varies between poetic and industrial. The simple yet unique items she designs are published by Industreal ToolsGalerie, Foscarini, Moustache and Super-ette to name but a few. Her flagship model is Binic, a lamp named after the small Breton port. After winning the Grand Prix design prize from the City of Paris, she opened her own studio in January 2011. During the last Milan show, she was one of the leading figures of the exhibition "La Nouvelle vague, le nouveau paysage domestique français" (The New Wave : the French domestic landscape).
