Jordi Pla founded his studio in 2008 in Barcelona. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Product Design from the Eina School of Design and Art in Barcelona. After his graduation, he took at post-graduate course in Digital 3D Modeling from Elisava School of Design and Engineering. Throughout the years, Jordi Pla has developed everything from lightning and furniture to packaging as well as several accessories. Jordi Pla explains :”I like improvisation and spontaneity which I use as creative techniques to help my self come up with fresh and unique concepts. Mother Nature always inspires me to learn about shapes and set up my overall perception about design disciplines, art and general culture. In my view, good design is making the right decisions and knowing when to make them. I constantly try to evolve from every little experience of a design process to get better at making these decisions and thus growing as a designer.”
