He was born in Brescia on February 20, 1963 under the Pisces sign. After completing his high school studies, in 1988 he graduated in Architecture from the Polytechnical School in Milan (with prof. Achille Castiglioni) with an industrialized project for a modular portable ladder. He is the owner of the ZETASS STUDIO, an integrated structure which deals with product design, engineering, packaging, decoration, graphic design, corporate identity, design coordination. He works with a team of professionals, in-house or free-lance, with a vast experience in the specific sector of competence. He works both at national and international level cooperating with leading companies in their relevant markets and is also a consultant for large multinational companies. The philosophy of the Studio has always been based on the search for “top” quality projects, offering functional and performing products, which must express, regardless of fashion trends, an intrinsic value and a long-lasting formal content. Marcello Ziliani has been teaching graphic design since 1993. From 1993 to 1997 he was president of “ABC incontri sul progetto”, a cultural association in Milan which played a lead role in the project organizing meetings, seminars, exhibits and events. In 1996 he was member of the jury of the contest “Young Italian Design” promoted by Ikea. From 1997 to 1999 he was Art Director of Salviati.
