Paolo Favaretto

He graduated in Architecture in Venice, and since 1973 he has been working in the Design and corporate consulting field. He works with the leading Italian and international companies in Canada, Germany, France, Korea, Portugal, USA; where he received several awards. He was also responsible for important renovation work in private homes, he designed offices, show-rooms and stands in Italy and abroad and designed a Tactile Museum for blind people in Catania. He is President and co-founder of the Italian Institute for Design and Disability which is part of the European Institute for Design and Disability. He is a member of the Board as well. Member of the National Committee of the ADI (Association for Industrial Design). He held conferences in various countries and held lessons at the University for Corporate Organization Studies (CUOA) in Vicenza, the Italian School for Design in Padova and the National College of Art and Design in Dublin. He was member of the graduating committee for Industrial Design at the Polytechnical School in Milan, he is part of the Scientific Committee of the European Project IDIA (Inclusive Design and Intelligent Technology for Accessible Workplace), and was a jury member in various design contests. He writes for several Italian furniture magazines especially the office sector and is the editorial consultant for Alberto Greco Editore. His work was published in important Italian and international magazines and in several design books.
