Born in Belgium in 1969, he made a name for himself in 2000 at the Satellite salon in Milan with Le banc, a hand-modelled aluminium bench. Right from the beginning he showed an ability for modelling surfaces, turning them into soft reflectors of light. He is an orthodox industrial designer who works like a craftsman, not to complicate matters, but to make his shapes fluid and sensual.
