He was born in Udine in 1952. He attended University in Florence and Venice where he graduated in 1979 in Architecture. In 1972 he was invited to the 36th Biennale of Venice, for the decorative art sector with two glass designer objects produced by the Livio Seguso glassworks in Murano.He held a solo exhibit in 1978 at the Plurima gallery in Udine and after this he started moving towards a more minimal architectural approach. Alongside his art work he also continued to work in architecture and industrial design. The studio produced several architecture and interior design projects between the 80’s-90’s and they were even published on specialized magazines such as Domus, Modo, Abitare, Interni. The project of a private home received several recognitions including the Piranesi award in 1993. As regards industrial design he had the chance to work with some of the most prestigious furniture companies such as Accademia, Crassevig, Gervasoni, Knoll International, Montina, Moroso, Pallucco. He held a solo exhibit “Light Box” in 1993 at the Plurima gallery in Udine, which was then presented by Cappellini at the Furniture Trade Fair in Milan in 1994. The Asia chair produced by Crassevig, received the Golden Compass award in Milan in 1999. He was also responsible for several museum exhibitions including the exhibit “Mosaic” in 1997, “Art in Udine in the 900’s” and the exhibit “Antique renewed” in 2001, which was held in the Saint Francis church in Udine.
